This clock is actually an LED screen looping a video of the designer manually redrawing the hands every minute and hour in real time for 12 hours.  The clock is part of a larger body of work by Maarten Baas called Real Time, which includes several really unique and amusing takes on time keeping.

Do you have a poodle, yet wish it was a panda, camel, or uh, psychedelic experience?  Then you’re in luck, because apparently a group of lunatics artists felt poodles hadn’t suffered enough humiliation at the hands of groomers, and decided they made the perfect medium for their art.  Granted, some of the work is pretty damned impressive, but still… So, what’s your take?  Art? Cruelty? Adorable?  Humiliating?  All of the above? None of the above?

The sand art of Andres Amador is awe inspiring, but you better check it out before high-tide.

Rather than thinking “wash me” when confronted with a filthy car window, Scott Wade thought “artistic medium.”  He has elevated dirty cars to an art form, and in doing so made us all a little more reluctant to do anything as mundane as writing something pithy in the dust.  Check out his work.
